BioTK organs were generated from digital image processing of a cadaveric specimen. Subsequently, each organ has been improved in appearance, accuracy and efficiency using software coming from the film industry to deliver the best product in the market.

The set of images used correspond to the Visible Human Project of the National Library of Medicine, USA (VHP -Visible Human Project - National Library of Medicine). The images include photographs of cryosectioning, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) spaced approximately every millimeter.
